Do keep in mind that most hardware stores sell low-cost window film kits. But these tend to be disposable, so if you can, spring for a reusable kit like the one offered by Niagara Conservation. Whenever possible, buy items like this from Canada’s Ecostores and green building product retailers! If you must use the disposable kind, be sure to recycle the plastic at the end of the season.
