World Toilet Day: From toilet to tap - Toronto Beaches Bus Tour & Workshop PAST EVENT
Join us for a one-hour guided bus tour led by Helen Mills of Lost Rivers. We will begin at the Ashbridges Bay Sewage Treatment Plant and end at the R.C. Harris Drinking Water Filtration Plant. Several stops along the journey will explore the area's historical and present-day interactions with the water cycle, including a visit to a restored wetland and aquatic habitat, a site where natural springs once provided a source of drinking water to First Nations and early European settlers, a protected park ravine carved by a now buried creek flowing south into Lake Ontario, and to an area that was once an estuary and former fishing grounds. $5-10

The Green Festival PAST EVENT
The aim is for it to be a family fun day, where all the family can come and have fun but go home being able to save money by being green! There will be trade stands from conservation/environmental groups, green products, organic/fair trade produce, crafts, antiques and lots more. Also, information on green projects (both government and private) already going on in NB, ways to save money with recycling, energy saving, water saving etc. And also lots of fun events for the family, such as wagon rides around one of our trails, bouncy castles, beer tent, live music etc. Advance Tickets - $10 adult, $5 child, 1 person free if vehicle full, random free vehicle entry, free tickets posted to locals within 5-10kms along the access route. On the Day Tickets - $15 adult, $7 child (16 & under)
